The Normandy landings, codenamed Operation Neptune, were the landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy, in Operation Overlord, during World War II. The landings took place on Tuesday, the 6th of June 1944 (D-Day) starting at 6:30am.

The operation included two phases: an airborne assault landing and an amphibious landing which was the largest amphibious invasion in world history and was executed under direct Anglo-American command including Americans, British, Canadians and French commando.

About 5,000 ships were involved. The landings took place along the Normandy coast divided into five sectors: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword.

Our tour includes the American sector beaches and places like Sainte Mère Eglise and Sainte Marie du Mont for the Airborne. The tour can be also extended to the British sector.

We recommend from two to three days' visit.
